We produce it in different shapes: spaghetti, farfalle, fusilli, lumache, penne rigate and stelline.
Penne is the second most famous type of pasta after spaghetti. It takes this name because it resembles an ancient writing pen. Historically smooth and gilded, but over time it has taken differentt forms. We make it in many variations: penne mezzani, penne ziti, mezze penne and rigate. The rigate type is beloved by everyone and it enriches the tables of all the Italians.
