Our commitment to the environment could only start with our packaging, primary and secondary.
In 2018 we were the first to believe in a pack to hold our pasta, made of 100% recyclable paper.
In addition to being made of 100% recyclable paper, our pack is also FSC and Aticelca certified.
In 2023, we confirmed and increased our commitment to the environment when restyling the pack.
In addition, the pack was equipped with a freshness-saving label, specially designed to also be 100% recyclable as paper and equipped with tear-resistant technology.
The commitment does not stop at the primary packaging, however, but extends to the secondary packaging as well. All Liguori cartons are also FSC certified.

FSC certification guarantees that products come from responsibly managed forests, providing important environmental, social and economic benefits.
FSC is an independent organisation led by its members, based on a transparent and balanced approach that ensures that different views and interests are respected in decision-making processes.
FSC's forest management standards are aimed at the utmost respect for nature. These include the protection of water quality, the preservation of old-growth forests, the prevention of the loss of natural forest cover, and the prohibition of highly toxic chemicals.
FSC requires forest managers to involve members of local communities in decision-making processes and to protect the rights of indigenous peoples by ensuring they are given a voice in decision-making processes.

The Aticelca system is the only one recognised by the Italian paper and board industry for assessing the recyclability of paper-based products and packaging.
The Aticelca 501 system is an evaluation system capable of determining the level of recyclability of predominantly cellulosic materials and products, such as paper and cardboard.
The standard is based on a laboratory analysis, developed by Aticelca since 2011 and which in April 2019 became UNI 11743:2019 standard.
